SHEA BUTTER
Effective in alleviating redness and inflammation, and relieves chapped lips, sunburn, stretch marks and more. It melts into the skin at body temperature and is quickly absorbed to transform dry, itchy skin into soft and nourished skin. Shea Butter is also known to improve circulation in the skin and encourage cell renewal. It is also beneficial as an anti-ageing compound because it stimulates collagen production and, if used regularly, softens wrinkles and fine lines.
BEESWAX
Anti-inflammatory properties and high concentrations of Vitamin A, which assist in the soothing and healing of wounds and the development of new skin cells. Beeswax is water-repellent, allowing it to form a protective barrier from the sun and environmental impurities. This protective nature of beeswax also makes it effective at retaining and attracting moisture, so skin stays soft and hydrated. Beeswax’s humectant properties also provide relief from the itchiness caused by dry skin and eczema. The antibacterial properties of beeswax help clear pores and reduce acne breakouts.
